IMPORTANT NOTE: During the Governor’s “Stay at home order” our firm is open normal business hours (8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Some days we will be in the office taking care of our business operations, and some days we will be working remotely. We are continuing to meet with clients remotely by telephone or Zoom meeting. Further, Governor Whitmer has signed an Executive Order which allows your estate plan (Trust, Will, Power of Attorney, Medical Directives, etc.) to be signed, witnessed and notarized by remote video conference. So, the short version is that we are conducting “business as usual” except in a little different way. Call our office or click on “Contact Us” on the left side of this page to set up a date and time to talk. We are also continuing to conduct our Wednesday Workshop series, the workshops are now live online every other Wednesday. You can register by clicking on the “Upcoming Workshops” button at the top of this page. Stay safe, and contact us if we can help.
Attorney Glenn Matecun and his team focus on estate planning, elder law, Medicaid planning, Veterans’ benefits, probate and other legal issues that affect seniors and their families. Maybe it’s the fear of losing your home or life savings if you or your spouse must enter a nursing home. Or maybe your don’t have an estate plan at all, or need information about whether it’s better in your situation to have a Living Trust or a Will. Perhaps you are worried about being a burden to your family if you become incapacitated, or protecting your children’s inheritances from creditors, lawsuits and divorce.
