Monika N. Burrell – Attorney in Michigan

Monika N. Burrell has been a dedicated member of our legal team for over a decade, helping clients navigate estate planning, elder law, and Medicaid planning with skill and compassion. She works closely with families to protect their assets and secure Medicaid benefits for loved ones in nursing homes—always with the goal of easing financial and emotional stress during difficult times.

Monika earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Science with Honors from Madonna University before pursuing her lifelong dream of becoming an attorney. She went on to graduate from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School while working full-time as a civil clerk at the 53rd District Court in Howell, gaining valuable firsthand experience with the legal process.

Committed to staying at the forefront of the law, Monika regularly attends continuing legal education seminars to expand her knowledge and ensure her clients receive the most up-to-date and effective legal strategies available. Her practice includes drafting wills, trusts, and powers of attorney, as well as creating tailored Medicaid protection plans to safeguard her clients’ financial futures.

Outside the office, Monika enjoys exploring new restaurants with her husband and adding unique finds to her growing record collection. Her attention to detail, dedication to her clients, and genuine care for the people she serves make her an invaluable part of our firm.
